Simplifying communication between hotel teams

OUR CLIENT

A world-renowned hospitality major with hotels and resorts across six continents.

THE OLD WAY

Line staff and management at the hotel needed to plan, schedule and work in a super-coordinated manner, given the seasonal, dynamic nature of the hotel’s business. There were peaks and troughs in activity – sometimes anticipated and sometimes unexpected, that required a seamless flow of information between teams that worked in shifts. E-mail was only adding to the confusion and did not offer a quick way to trace information when it was urgently needed.

THE GLUEWAYTM
This team of 100 uses KineticGlue to share information and co ordinate activities. Every piece of information is stamped with the person who created it, as well as date and time. When a document is downloaded, it is visible to the entire team. This makes it easy to view the most recent activities and check who is working on what Updating information on KineticGlue removes the needed to communicate the same message to (and follow-up with) multiple people, saving time and energy.

The management is able to clearly instruct line staff about changes in plans, new schedules, changes in individuals’ work shifts etc. KineticGlue is extremely easy to use which means that new team members need no training. The mobile application means that all information is now always at their finger-tips.
